About the Palm Beach County, Florida Area
Proudly serving all of Palm Beach County, Florida including Delray Beach Boca Raton Boynton Beach Lake Worth and West Delray
Boca RatonBoca Raton is the largest city between West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach. In 1991, the new downtown outdoor shopping center, Mizner Park, was completed over the site of the older Boca Raton Mall. It has since become a cultural center for the city. Featuring a landscaped central park between two cobblestone roads (collectively called Plaza Real) with stores only on the outside of the roads, Mizner Park resembles a Mediterranean suburban "town center" with a more contemporary look. It features many restaurants and is home to the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
Mizner Park has significantly aided downtown revitilization. Many new 8-10 story mixed-use buildings have been constructed, are under-construction or are proposed for the downtown area. The surrouding areas to the downtown have benefited from the downtown redevelopment. Thus, the eastern area of Boca Raton, specifically around downtown, has become even more desirable; prices reflect this trend.

| Boynton BeachIn 1894, two years before Henry Flagler built his railroad, a former American Civil War major named Nathan S. Boynton first set eyes on the area that now bears his name. He was so impressed by the natural beauty of what he saw, the year-round sunshine and pristine beaches, that he built the famous Boynton Beach Hotel to serve as his family's summer residence.
Thanks to Boynton Beach’s central location, a multitude of museums, theaters, and cultural events are within easy reach. Ballet and modern dance, operas and symphonies, rock concerts and piano bars, Shakespearean theater and Broadway musicals, and historical exhibits – it’s all here. In addition, Boynton Beach residents enjoy a full calendar of street festivals, open-air concerts, educational lectures and other cultural events. Just check the local and entertainment sections of area newspapers...there is always something to see and do.

| Delray BeachDowntown Delray, located in the eastern part of the city, primarily along East Atlantic Avenue and stretching to the beach, has undergone a large scale renovation. This area is now home to several upscale restaurants and several different assorted shops.
This has brought business to the area by the Delray Beach Tennis Center, which has hosted several major international tennis events such as the April 2005 Fed Cup , the April 2004 Davis Cup , the Millennium ITC , and the Chris Evert / Bank of America Pro Celebrity.
Concurrent with the new construction of the Tennis Center, several local historic landmark structures were renovated during the last decade of the 20th century. These include Old School Square, formerly Delray Elementary School and Delray High School, since turned into a thriving cultural center; and the Colony Hotel. Old School Square comprises the Crest Theatre, a venue for the performing arts, in the former High School building; the 1925 Gymnasium, restored to maintain its appearance, which has since become a popular venue for local events such as wedding receptions and dances; the Cornell Museum of Art and History, built in the restored Elementary School; and a recently constructed outdoor entertainment pavilion, which serves as a venue for musical performances and has also been used for events such as political rallies.
The downtown area is now a thriving center of commerce, and Delray Beach was named an All-America City in both 1993 and 2001, and having been named a finalist in the competition in 1998
| Lake WorthThe city of Lake Worth is named after a lake now usually called Lake Worth Lagoon. This lake opens to the Atlantic ocean at the Port of Palm Beach via the Lake Worth Inlet. Lake Worth bills itself as "Where The Tropics Begin" as many tropical plants grow in the city; among the more prominent examples are mahogany, royal poinciana and many species of palm, including coconut palm.
The downtown area has seen a huge resurgence in interest and development and once moribund property values have soared. The city's charming main street, Lake Avenue, contains some of the oldest commercial structures in south Florida, including the Lake Worth Play House and the art deco building, originally a cinema, which formerly housed the PBICA. The re-discovery of this unique charm has spurred new interest in the city.
Downtown Lake Worth is home to the Lake Worth Playhouse, and the Museum of the City of Lake Worth. Yearly festivals such as the Street Painting Festival and Finlandia Week (a celebration of Lake Worth's Finnish population) attract thousands of people. When combined with neighboring Lantana's Finnish community, it becomes the largest Finnish community in the United States. The largest Oktoberfest in south Florida is held every October just outside the city on Lantana Road. The city also holds a weekly street festival called "Friday on the Avenues" with both Lake and Lucerne Avenues being blocked to traffic and food and art kiosks being set up around the antique Town Clock in the square in front of City Hall Annex.
